Ok... This is my second OEM navi (which I believe sucks btw) and now it's time to either fix or replace it.

The problem: After the dealer had my car and they said they didn't do anything to the navi system or the dash, my navi system screen won't open fully and thus won't start. They said I would need a new one and it will cost $3k. I say if it's failed twice, no way I am buying another one.

The solution: Might there be a quicker fix and the dealer is just idiots? If not, any suggestions on which way to go? New navi system with a touch screen or the likes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

#1 I would probably try taking the whole thing out and see if anything is blocking it from opening up all the way.
