New Steering Wheel

Has anybody here successfully installed a new steering wheel (ie. sparco, nardi, etc...) and were able to overcome the airbag light with resistors or by some other means? All the stories i have heard the resistor just either burns out or just does not work.

No it's never been done before in the almost 8 years the RX-8 has been on the road. You are the first to think of it.

Hint:

At the bottom of this page you will see "Similar Threads".

lol. no dude you guys are misunderstanding my question entirely. im not talking about the wheel man, i was talking about successfully fooling the airbag light in the rx8...and i have talked to some of them that i know have a aftermarket wheel. none have figured it out. i was just wondering if somebody might have figured it out. resistors seem to just fry in this car
