Mazda says my PS is underpowered and is blaming my Pioneer D3 and EMT bar light (wtf) on taking up too much power, causing PS failure. They are telling me that the alternator is not putting out enough power.

So my question is, how can I get more power from the alternator/which alternator would be a good upgrade to cover my power needs.

Go to Ohio Generator's website....Call them up and tell them you want an RX8 alternator upgrade....it runs about 425 shipped for 180 amps. They actually take a stock alternator and re-spin the copper wires. I have one and it works well.
