Need to know what to do

I'm planning on getting more bump in my trunk between 600-800 watts RMS and I want to know what I need to do, Like do I need a new alternator? Bigger battery?
And where should I go to get the stuff to power the soon to come system?

Thanks
-Derek

Read the grounding sticky at the top of the forum for starters. Next the search button is your friend.

I haven't had any problems with the electrical system yet and am running a 1000/1, but I'll let you know in a couple of years when the alternator starts to age. Still stock battery and alternator with no cap. I will probably be upgrading to an Optima battery very soon though.

If you are looking for a good amp that will put out 600rms into a single channel (mono), than the Alpine mrd-m605 is your best bet cause since it's a digital amp it only draws 13 amps max. That's comparible to a analog amp drawing 60-65 amps. your alternator will last a hell of alot longer.
