need ipod adapter for 08 40th anniv

hey everyone i have an 08 40th anniv rx8 and i have no problems with the wonderful stock sound system other than i cant plug in my ipod and listen to my music as i was accustomed to doing in my "old" car an 08 limited ford escape. i went to a local car audio store 2 yrs ago when i got my 8 and they told me that the only way to plug in an ipod to my stereo would be if i got a new deck and i really dont want to buy a new deck cuz i like the look and functionality of the stock one plus i can save some money. so does anyone know if theres a way to plug my ipod in?? im thinkin maybe there is now since its been a couple years. thank you all!
