Yellow One

I just bought a "Lightening Yellow" RX 8 with Navigation. It is an 04 model and the DVD that came with it seem to be for Northeast USA. It is SDAL format and version is v1.7.27.6 The problem is I live in North Carolina (near the South Carolina border). It does not recognize any zip codes around here. I want to have the latest Nav DVD that will work with my current (stock '04) system but will have the Southest area covered. I see on listed on ebay that is version 1.7.36.3. Does anyone know if that will cover the Southeast? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I am lost with out my Navigation! (ok pun intended!)

i believe you just have to select a region before you input a zip code. when you're in the select destination menu, at the very top you'll see the region, if you scroll up to it and click, you can change the region to one you're currently in

You are so right and you just made me very happy!!! Now, could you give me any words of wisdom how to make it not be slow as molasses? And the data is 10 yrs old. Is there an updated version that would work with this system? Thanks so much for your response

There was an updated dvd released in mid 07 iirc, but nothing since then.
