I have searched endlessly lately for a place to buy either two half inch thick sheets of plexiglass or one inch thick sheet. does anyone know where on the web i could go to get this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot. i just talked with a place called Piedmont Plastics and they quoted me $71.60 for a 12"x48". I think i may go your path XeRo. Again, i appreciate it.
