Need help with disabling audiopilot.

ok so if been searching all night since i got off work on this topic and have not found any clearly stated information on my issue. i have an aftermarket pioneer headunit that i installed coupled with the stock bose amplifier. the problem is that when i turn the HU down to anything under 5 the audiopilot kicks in and turns the bass up real loud and i cant have a conversation with the people in my car which is why i turned it down in the first place. i want to know either where the sensor is or which wire i need to "disconnect" to stop the audiopilot system from working. since i have an aftermarket HU i have no control of it from the HU. any help would be greatly appreciated.

never mind i found the sensor on my own. mine is definitely not where everyone else's is unless i just misread posts. it was under the dash besides the removable cover under the steering wheel pointed at the ground. I just unplugged it and now the audio pilot dose not engage.
