Navigation/Tracking Removal

I am getting a rx8 soon but was wondering if the factory or cops could track the car if someone stole it..
I am gonna lease it this summer so do they come with GPS (tracking)
I wanna get my car back if someone steals it..SinceI am putting about 15 grand into it in parts after i lease it..
Or do any dealers do this ??
I hear insurance is slightly cheaper also if you install a tracking system but I wonder if the factory does use them in their lease cars..

Thanks guys

The factory Nav system is a receiver only. It doesn't transmit.

But you can get a Lojack system installed that can track your car if it gets stolen. But the RX-8 is rarely stolen. The more popular a car is, the more it gets stolen. The RX-8 is not on anybody's list of most popular cars. That's why we love them, because you don't see one in every third space in the parking lot.

Boomerang makes a great vehicle tracking system. If I find the link I'll post it up for you.
