That is insane that they can't order just a part of it. You'd think the service dept. would have "exploded" views of everything. Probably is a pain in the *** to fix and much easier to say its your fault...

 

Way to go Mazda... Keep treating your customers like this... Every time I hear about stuff like this it just gets me more pissed off!

 

To mazda's credit, this is probably just some circle-jerker dealer out there trying to make a quick couple of grand off of Joe Schmoe.

I think you should just call up Mazda, say you're sending your car back to Hiroshima for them to fix, and you'd like a RMA number. Hot swapping would be a must as well...
