My Steeda Battery Relocation 2 Trunk Kit!!!
Hi guys...
I have made alot of mods in very little time so far..We have the airinix from the turbo in the revi box so we won't get air from all the places and we maybe install the whole revi with some very custom tubes later...I am telling this cause that was the reason we couldn't install the greddy oil catch tank anywhere...No space..
I searched some mustang forums and i found the steeda battery relocation kit...Great kit and good price...Very strong wires but i will get bigger battery next Wednesday..The stock is arround 60A and the one i am getting is arround 105A...
So the oil catch tank was installed in the place where the stock battery used to be...
Here are some pics from the box when i got it,from the box in the trunk and withe the cover open in the trunk(i still have the stock battery...for few days). Also a pic from the oil catch tank under the hood and the space the batttery relocation left..
..Very strong box and good quality...
Sorry for the crappy trunk but i didn't have time to clean it..I just got back from my mechanic...

The battery box is usually bolted through the trunk floor. Just going by those pictures it seems kinda inconvenient as it's right in the middle of the trunk.
It's too late now, but there is room just to the left of the wiper fluid reservoir to fit the catch can. It's a tight fit and you have to fab a small bracket but it works.

As my friend told^ the box is bolted in the trunk floor...
I said that the trunk is a mesh but i didn't have time to empty it...I took pics when i got back from the shop...Usually i have all the trunk empty...I don't use it a lot so no problem with me...
We tried but i believe the wiper fluid reservoir is bigger here and we couldn't fit it...Anyhow i love my setup right not...Unique i can say...!!!

Oil Injection
I would think you could mount it on the upper part of the shelf, against the side where the tire inflation kit is...I dont cary the kit and it seems like it would take up the least room there.
I woudlnt worry about moving the batt. unless you have something to install as GrRx8MaZda did, cause its already figured into the weight balance. if anything id mount a smaller/ligher batt in the same spot.
Looks cool though, where did the kit come from?

It come directly from Steeda site...
As for the balance,i believe the lambo doors mechanisms will may it equal...
Also i couldn't install the battery box rear the trunk cause i have the greddy strut bar....

I'm thinking about moving my battery to the trunk to help compensate for the weight of the GReddy intercooler that's mounted forward of the front axle.
How/where did you route the battery cables?
Thanks!

It was very difficult..Bu this isn't impossible...I route them through the motor, from the interior side skirts and then to the trunk
