i have imported rx8 from japan and im in pakistan and the dvd player doesnt work here PLZ HELP

 

i'm not too sure if this is the case, but the RX-8 doesn't have a dvd player. It has a navigation system but it does not play dvds.

 

I agree. It is against the law to have a real time video screen in view of the driver. It has to just be the navagation.

 

no it has dvd player in the back seat area and on the screen it written dvd rom

 

It only plays navigation DVDs. It will not play regular DVDs

 

*IF* it does have some aftermarket DVD player in the car - you probably have a DVD region problem. like US Dvd players can only play region 1 dvds made in the US and canada..

do a wikipedia search for dvd regions for more info

Dude in the 8s with Navigation the place where the Dvd Nav disc goes is in the rear console spot..... It does not I REPEAT does not play DVDs

 

OOHH see I did not know thats where the disc went... i always just assumed it went in the radio Head unit... My bad
