Thumbs up My new Momo shifter

Today I recieved my new Momo F-16 shifter, and installed it on the car. Installation was very simple. Remove the old one by screwing it off, select the proper sleeve and fit it over the shift lever. Place the threaded collar over the shift lever, then place the shifter itself over the lever. It takes some force to seat it fully. Take the three hex head screws and the enclosed tool, and tighten the shifter onto the lever. Finally pull the threaded collar up and screw it on the bottom of the shifter. The over all fit is very good, but the new shifter does not sit as far down on the boot as the OEM does. The gap is negligable.

The first thing I noticed how well the Momo feels in your hand. The finish is smooth and the ergonomics are fantastic. It does sit about an inch taller than the OEM, which changes your entire arm position while shifting. The Momo is noticably lighter than the OEM, but it doesn't seem to impact the operation. Shifts with the Momo are fantastic. I took the car out and did some shifts from redline and they were easy. The shift from 2nd to 3rd, at redline, was fantastic. The taller shifter gives a postitive movement through the gates, and I didn't miss a single shift. Overall I really like this new shifter, and carbon look goes very nicely with the black and grey interior.

$86.90 from cardomain shipped.

Does yours make a buzzing noise when you drive? I noticed it thismorning on my way into work. I was thinking about putting some teflon tape around the threads for the bottom collar to help with this.
