Mp3 player and WMA files

Just a quick question, can the Mazda unit play both MP3 and WMA files? Thanks

I'm not sure... I don't think so, I remember having a couple .wma files on a cd I burned, but now that I think about it, I don't ever remember them coming on, so maybe it just skipped them. I'll test this next time i get in car.

Based on the MP3 manual (page 15) it looks like only MP3 files and CD's can be played. MP3i and MP3 PRO formats are specifically NOT supported.
