If I get an RX8 with the Navigation/DVD Player, will it play MP3's? I'm thinking it should since most DVD players play MP3's. Also, the DVD Player DOES play DVD movies, right? I was just told it didn't so I want to confirm. Thanks.

 

the NAV dvd DEFINITELY does not play DVD movies...and on top of that it will play nothing other than the NAV data disc...so no mp3 at all

yes there is a Mazda MP3 unit that replaces the stock cd unit (not the whole stereo/head unit)

better off installing that yourself....that is even easier

the dvd unit for the nav is located in the center console between the rear 2 seats

the cd unit is located in the head unit (stereo)
