Doe's the MP3 player give you the song titles on the dash display?

 

Yes, it recognizes and displays ID3v1 tags, and directory names.

 

Yes they do but you need to have ID3 version 1 tags on your MP3's otherwise it will show "NO TITLE" on album, artist and song titile selections. I think the mp3 installer link in my Sig has additional info on the subject or possible links to another threads with more info. Do a search..

Yes and I think it's ONLY ID3v1 tags.. if your file has both v1 and v2, you will get NO TITLE.

 

Not so - my MP3's have both v1 and v2 tags, and the info displayed just fine.

I originally had a problem with all tracks displaying NO TITLE, but that was a hardware error with my unit. The replacement displayed the v1 tag info regardless of whether a v2 tag was also present.

 

Hmm.. I must be wrong then.. I swear it didnt work for me, but then again, I havent used v2 tags since then..
