Motion Sensor

Could this motion sensor be installed instead of the shock sensor? Or can both be installed? I have the shock senor now.

"Sure you can do that RR, it wouldn't be hard at all. All you have to do is tap it into the negitve input sensor of the stock alarm."

Hey, how'd I get in this thread? What the? Where am I? A montion sensor what? Ahh....I'm outa here!

Sorry, couldn't resist! Anywho, I'm not sure you really could do anything besides get the factory alarm to go off. I'm not sure that there is a "warning" statge on our alarms. It all depends on how the shock sensor is setup, and I really don't know what to tell you on this one.

Yeah, you put the interior zone on a negative trigger from the factory alarm, and for the exterior or "warning" zone, you could use it to trip a relay and run something like a piezo siren off the relay. I've done this on different types of cars to protect factory HID headlights
