better than having a nav system i guess but what gauges are they?

Matsuda speed, the rotary 4 seater of Matsuda - indicates oil pressure and oil temperature and water temperature to sport " RX-8 " business, sold the " sport meter sink system ", on June 19th of 2003.



The " sport meter sink system ", indicates the oil pressure and degree of oil temperature of the engine and water temperature, analog type 3 connected meter. In addition to meter itself, control unit and the private meter hood, with set of the attachment for installation, it installs on center console top. At the time of engine start, as the illumination of the LED lights up, also production such that guide moves was administered. Price reaches 13.7 ten thousand Yen with only the kit.

i'd sport it the gauges even seem to match the the standard gauge cluster

I'd love a fully-functional oil pressure gauge in addition to both oil and water temps (oil temp is necessary because your oil is the only thing cooling the rotors), but twelve hundred bucks?!? Yikes.

can you really put a price on knowing how your engine is doing all of the time

Am i correct in thinking that there is already an Oil Pressure guage in the instrument cluster??

Yes but its a noddy on/off version. with a large range of pressure for 'on'.

I'm glad to see that there is going to be support for the after-market and tuner world for this car. It will add to it's success. This is a great idea for those individuals who rework the engine to it's full potential. I believe it it totally unnecessary for a non-modded or lightly modded car. At any rate, this looks to be a fair price given the fact that they appear to be using the Defi-Link system that I use on my 3Rotor RX-7. And they are including a finished and attractive mounting system. I had to fabricate my center cluster (which replaces what the 2nd Gen community calls the idiot cluster - all the warning lights). This is a very good meter set. I did a lot of research and ended up going with them. www.defi-shop.com - go to the link system for more info.
