Matching Piano Black?

Ok, I did a search on this and didn't have much luck. I am replacing my astray with a cutsom panel I will fabricate to house the Harmon Kardon Drive + Play for iPod integration. However, I need to finish the exterior of the panel to match the piano black on the radio. Anybody have any success with this? Any suggestions are extremely appreciated. I could always hack away at my ashtray lid with a dremel, but would rather just remove and make a custom panel and paint to match.

Looks good...

He did an awesome job on that. I'm trying to decide how to make the panel because it is curved. Any suggestions? I made a temporary foam mold. Will post pics to get ideas.

Just have it painted. I took my shift gate to an auto paint shop and for 48 bucks they did a great job.

Thanks. It was a nice cheap mod. I have the door bezels in piano black also. Kind of breaks things up a bit.
