By the looks of it there is no connection to the PCM.

According to this info it connects to the speed sensor and has its own gyro:

Nothing really, lol, it just looks really cool, especially t night at stop lights a-lot of cars are always looking over, and when i race at a stop light i touch the screen to switch over from analog to digital and the way the digital guages comeonto the screen is awesome, usually it scares the person wanting to race me. I guess they must think i hve like a really fixed motor or something.

So I am getting everything ready for my turbo install, I have a boost gauge, egt gauge, oil temp, oil pressure and a/f. Does anyone know where and how i mount the sensors for the oil temp and oil pressure, the instructions are really dumb, it says "install sensor". thanks for the help

I think the best place for oil pressure is at the oil line to the turbo, since that is where you're most concerned, and its relatively accessible, but I'm not sure about that. I believe most people install oil temp at the oil filter using an adapter. Oil press could also be installed this way.

For water temp I've seen hoses that replace the stock hose and provide a fitting for the sensor, but there's probably another way to do it without the replacement hose.

Anyone figure out how to change the stock Oil Pressure and Water Temp. gauges to be real gauges rather than "idiot lights?"

I'd think it be prudent to at least make an attempt at using the existing gauges for those two measurements rather than add new ones...but that's just my humble opinion.
