LCD Problem After Sirius Install

I have an '07 RX8 that is having some problems with the LCD for the radio/climate controls. Starting about two weeks ago it will randomly light up all the display or go completely blank. (I've attached a picutre.)

I had an aftermarket Sirius Sportster 5 kit and a Dice Ipod integration kit installed in November and everything was working fine until a few weeks ago. When this happened, I took it into the dealer and they said that it was the aftermarket sirius radio that was causing the LCD problem. Of course the store that installed the sirius/ipod integration was Tweeter, which is now bankrupt and out of business, so no luck there.

My question is does having these aftermarket items installed void the warranty with respect to the radio? I definately got the impression that the dealer was hoping to push it off to the installer, but from what I've been told the install is fairly simple and really only involved plugging in a few wires. Has anyone had any similar problems and had success with the dealer fixing it, or other solutions? Thanks!

it is an LCD(liquid crystal display) not LED(light emitting diode). the connector is probably not connected properly.

Well, I took it back to the shop that installed the sirius radio, and they pulled the radio out and confirmed that everything was hooked up correctly. Of course now the LCD is working fine again!

At least now if it acts up, I can go back to the dealer and tell them that I've confirmed the aftermarket sirius was installed properly.

i have the same problem except now everything wont work, I have the same sattelite radio adapter direct connect. now radio and CD wont work screen is the same as yours.. I installed the adapter myself and now i think it might be a fuse but also when i read to install it on a second hand website. dealer says its shot and needs a new one. I found a audio shop to fix it ofr cheap. lookup a radio repair shop for car audio.
