Leather Color Question

I was wondering if it is possible for Mazda Dealers to change the interior leather? I currently have the tanned leather with my VR...when I bought the car (used), I felt that was one of the few cons I had in the deal because I believe red/black is sweet. Tanned isn't terrible and is actually a relaxing color, but I'd still like to know if I have any reasonable options.

thanks

I wouldn't let the dealer change the color. The only way to do it is to take apart your entire interior. They are bound to break some tabs thus causing significant rattles that will never go away. If you don't mind the tan leave it. If it really bothers you then get a professional shop to help you out.

Yeah they can change it--but you can cut out the middle man and go to a classic soft trim or Katzkin leather installer. My interior is aftermarket black/tan leather and it is much better grain than the factory leather--more supple, it also doesn't have those rubbery ribbed bolsters. Those rubbery bolsters will hold up better than leather but its not supple.--the aftermarket leather is the way to go.
