I just picked up this beauty someone lost at the pawn shop I manage. I read some reviews and apparently its one of the best radar detector made if not the best. Even in reviews against the old king of the hill the valentine v1 it schooled it while detecting radar 11 miles away and 3500 feet in a curve. I am going to test it out tomorrow when I drive to Virginia and see how well it works. PS..... its undetectable, has an external amplified speaker, and a hideaway display.





Does anyone have any experience with this jewel?

 

I know you said its undetectable ect but just remember I believe radar detectors of any kind are illegal in VA(not that it'll stop you) so make sure it can't be seen or easily found if you do manage to get pulled over.

 

Well a little bit of interstate driving to do before i hit virginia so I probably wont be using it there since the ticket is almost $100 just for having one.

they cant really ticket you unless they see it ... what i did when i was in virginia (i did get pulled over once) pull it off really quick and put it under the seat or in the glove box ... i was in an s4 so they have storage bins under the seat so i just dumped it in there and the cop never even asked about it...
