I just installed the XM Commander in my RX-8. I cut back the blastic liner in front ashtray and have it where the cover still closes. I had the antenna installed dead center behind the backseats on the inside.

The quality is like a FM station. I boosted the treble and bass to +2 on the Bose system and it sounds better.

However, I will be the market for the Sirus version if the dealers do make it backwards compatible with the '04 RX-8s.

I am in my car a lot and became frustrated with the constant commercials on local FM.

I am not positive it is worth 9.95 per month but it would be if it could connect to the BOSE and have digital quality sound.
