Joyfast Shift *****

Hi guys,

So I've been through a quite a bit of shift ***** over the past year in search of the perfectly weighted ****.

These include:

- Trust Metal Shift ****
- RE Amemiya D1 Shift ****
- Razo CF Shift ****
- Voodoo Round Piano Black Shift ****

Out of all these, the Voodoo felt much better because of the added weight. However, I was still not too happy with how the shifter felt during hard driving.

Joyfast to the rescue!

I came across this brand when I used to own a Miata. They're a Roadster-tuning company out of Japan and they simply make some of the nicest, weighted shift ***** around.

Here's the one I got: Joyfast SS Short Shift **** (Pictures were taken from RevLimiter's install on www.clubroadster.net - my camera can't take that nice of a picture)

And here's the three different styles that Joyfast offers (the optional Joyfast Shift Extender is pictured with the shift *****):

And finally here's a comparison between Voodoo, Joyfast, and OEM (Miata):

The Joyfast shift **** is over 400g and helped smooth my shifting considerably. The only downside is that the shift **** is made of stainless steel so it does get hot.

I've had bad experiences with Carbon Fiber Shift ***** and Delrin Shift ***** being WAY too light. Lighter the shift ****, the more prone to miss shifting and potentially grinding your fragile Aiisin transmission.

The Voodoo ***** are really nice as well, but I wanted something that was a bit different and the fit and finish on this piece makes the interior look so much better than my old Voodoo.

It's also heavier than the Voodoo by far.

A little update.....

Hi guys,

Currently, I'm running the shift extender and large shift **** from Joyfast Yokohama.

Sadly, it seems as if the company isn't doing too well in Japan. I've been told that the owner is in the middle of selling off his remaining stock of accessories. Although most of his products are geared towards Roadsters (Miatas or MX5s), I'm sure a lot of people here might want to consider getting a limited edition shift **** that will no longer be in production.

They're not the cheapest item around. But PM me if you're interested. I'll have our contact from Japan ship it over direct by EMS.

I got mine in about 5 days after I ordered. We will have to check for availability on the items prior to ordering since these are hand-made and were not mass-produced.

Let me know!
Eddie
