Alright guys, I know all this iPod talk has been talked about a million times on the forum but I never could really find a good straight answer. I have v9.53 firmware and am wanting to hook up my iPhone 3g and use the steering wheel controls. Right now I have the iO Play in my car (allows bluetooth streaming to car speakers). But it has it's own control panel which is annoying.

So it comes down to this. Can anyone PLEASE tell me if i can hook up my iPhone and play the music through the speakers with v9.53!?!

 

If you have an 04 you can use axxess with out a firmware update from what i have heard. but if you have a later model with the sat button i would go with the DICE R2 and just get the update for your radio.
