im new to rx8club.com but as with any forum i have already tried the search feature. I have looked into the subject of connecting my Ipod to my factory radio quite extensively. I know about all the firmware problems and different adapters etc. I just got my 2006 rx-8 with 13,000 miles on it about a month ago and still have no found a decent solution. Almost all the products i've seen others use don't work with newer firmwares. I believe my firmware is 9.82 i checked last night. i know the grom products don't work. i cant find on the dice electronics website if it is compatible with my radio.... although there is a FAQ about how to find the firmware version your radio is on your rx-8 so it leads me to believe there might be problems. does anyone have the newer firmware and have any luck with the dice adapter? if not is there any adapter that i can use.

on a seperate note, if i replace my radio because there is no adapter. does the metra kit allow you to control basic features with my steering wheel buttons.
