Hi,

I have an 2005 with bose audio and oem sat radio. I have been looking through all the Ipod kits but all requires you to disconnect oem sat radio. Is there a kit out there that does not require that? Or anything like AUX MOD that wont force me to remove my oem sat radio?

The only kit I know of that would work for you is the one from Axxess - it hooks up to the MD/Cassette port on the bottom of the head unit. Of course, if you have either the MD or Cassette installed, you'd have to remove it first.

The Axxess units also display track information on the stock radio screen, but it does not autoscroll (you'd have to twist the text **** to see it all if it doesn't fit). Also, the unit uses playlists to navigate around - the iPod screen is locked out while it's plugged in so if you want to navigate the iPod directly, you'd have to unplug it, make your selections, then plug it back in. It does allow for steering wheel control function for next track, etc.
