I have the Mazda iPod integration and a few questions... I've tried searching but found nothing, so hopefully you guys can help.

1. I have seen a few people with this same set up and they are able to display the song title, artist etc on their display.. mine just says the time and track. Is there something aftermarket that I need or just SOL?

2. I just got a Spotify account and when I try to play it through my car stereo it plays 1 second of the song and then the iPod immediately starts playing. This goes for Pandora too. Does anyone know how to change this or is the integration defaulted to play iPod and nothing else?

 

That's weird i was able to play pandora or slacker radio heck even youtube videos with the mazda ipod integration..I wonder if your radio software has anything to do with it?

 

I have no idea.. I remember you saying that I could but it doesn't do it.. I've pushed every button imaginable and no dice.
