i also have a voodoo shift ****, its the golf ball size one (name escapes me) its had the texture black finish, i bought it for the miata, but when i got the 8 i switched it over cause the metal on the top of the stock **** hurts my hand.

everyday when i get in the car leaving work, i get burnt. you said custom made? it looks like wet-suit material.

you provide the guy with the artwork that you want on the **** glove, and there you have it. It is made of a felt type material. It does not keep the **** from getting hot, just allows you to shift gears when it is hot. He makes the miata ones all the time, no artwork needed, but for the 8, he had at the time not done one yet.

if you want, you can have the shift **** engraved, but you have to mark it front to back before sending it to him, to make sure that the text, logo or whatever ends up where you want it.

 

you know what id pay some damn good money for is the silver plastic side center console panels remade in brushed aluminum pieces.

 

now i bet that would be expensive as hell. if the fake CF ones are 400 bucks, true aluminum...i would rather have new springs.
