Hey guys, so heres my plans. I am looking to redo my interior. I am looking to upholster the seats, pillars, door panel inserts and headliner in black alcantara. I've done a ton or research and havent really seen it talked about here that much besides people saying that its a PITA. So has anyone removed any of these panels. Or does anyone have experience with upholstery that could shoot me some pointers. I have a used passenger seat that i am going to practice on first so that i dont mess up my actual seats. Also i have heard some people say that 3M adhessive spray is the way to attach the fabric but others have said that over time the headliners tend to fall when people use the 3M product. Also if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Some advice. Unless you're gifted and/or experienced, what I think you're proposing would be a very challenging task to get it right the first time. Seriously, and I do mean seriously think (and then practice on that seat like you said) before starting such an endeavor.

And the headliner would a be a serious PITA. I'm not sure any amount of practicing would get you there.
