Hey I am not familiar with the radio set up on the 8. I want to get a sub installed and keep everything else how it is i guess. So I need a sub, box, what kind of wires? transformer? what do I have to do go a single sub good quality install.

 

I say the best way is to SEARCH and then SEARCH some more searching
alot of people have different setups and different ways to install
now if you need basics thats another forum

 

basically, all you need for any basic install are the wires, amp, and line converter. you can pick up an amp install kit almost anywhere they sell car audio. it should include power cable, ground cable, remote on wire, an RCA cable and sometimes some speaker wire.
