Information Display went CRAZY !

My red information display (long red display above the radio controls) went nuts the other day...showing every symbol, basically looking like it was fried...then a few days later it came back to normal. Anyone experience this or issues with this display ? Any ideas if this is going out on me or what happened ?

Thank You!

This is a very common issue. Pull the HU and check all of your connections.

No I didn't do anything like that...but I did have to jump start my car the day before. The strange thing is it stated working again and it seemed to come back after hitting a big pot hole in the road. It being a connection issue would make sense considering the bump seemed to bring it back. Just seems so Mickey Mouse that the connection could be so flimsy as to be reconnected via a pothole...is it easy to take this thing out and look at it ? I'm worried I'll do damage to something.

Do you have the metra kit? Earlier versions had this problem.
