Hey guys,
I've done a few of the direct ipod aux mods on some 8's in the area (Northern VA), and figured those without the handy sautering experience, or money for an aftermarket ipod integration unit/right firmware would love to have this done.
So I'm willing to do the mod for members for the cost of shipping and whatever it's worth to you/whatever you have!

Sorry guys, been busy. PM me if you want this done and if you are local or would be shipping.
I'm not trying to make a business out of this, I just figured people want a better alternative to FM transmitters for relatively cheap.
So whatever this is worth to you, I'll do it for (within reason, like $5 wouldn't even cover the cords I have to buy, and $100 buys you an OEM adapter).
Figure out the shipping from your place to 22556 zip code and PM me.
ALSO, what this is, is a auxiliary cord that plugs into your headphone jack that I solder (happy rickeo? haha) into the back of your stock radio. This enables you to play your music directly into the radio through the CD player setting with a blank CD (which I can make for you if you'd like). This doesn't affect any regular cd's playing, and there aren't any skipping between tracks on the blank CD. It will, however, pause for a half a second when the cd goes from track 16 back to track 1 then no interruptions until it starts over again.
This runs through the inside of the center console and out into the tray where your drink holders are.
Ignore the dirty car but this shows the exit point for the cable--
Your cable will be long enough to not have to have that extension on it, I just used one too short on my car (which was the first one I did).
The lid is still close-able even with the cord sticking out and connected to your iPod
