IASCA Judging Seminar
Hi all,
SASCA (Security & Auto Sound Challenge Association) together with IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) will be holding a judging seminar in Singapore for all car audio enthusiasts, installers and those who are keen to learn more about IASCA judging criteria.
The course will cover the latest rules and judging criteria of the IASCA competition.
Emphasis will be on sound quality, installation quality, sound pressure level and real-time analysis. The process of judging an IASCA competition and the correct approach of listening to an IASCA Audio disc will be shared. Technical skills including safety aspect like calculation of fuse size, length of wire will also be taught.
Mr Jamie Edmundson will be our trainer for this course. He is a very established and experienced trainer in the United States and he has also participated and won in numerous competitions.
The course will allow experienced enthusiasts to enhanced & reaffirm their skills & knowledge. For starters, it will bring a new dimension and concept of appreciating audio in the car. All participants at the end of the course will allow be able to identify the standards of an ‘IASCA’ competition car.
A test at the end of the course will allow the participant a chance to be an IASCA Certified International Judge. More events will be held in the pipeline to follow-up with participants to allow them more exposure and experience to practice what they have learned. Only participants who attend this course will be recognized as an IASCA judge in future events held locally or overseas. Lastly the judging course is not likely to be held in the near future unless there are changes in the IASCA judging criteria.
Date: 24th – 26th November 2006
Time: 9am – 5pm
Venue: Copthorne Orchid Hotel
Course fees: $350 (SASCA Trade member) / $450(Public/Foreigners)
Lunch & Tea-break will be provided.
Course fees cover IASCA Audio disc, Rulebook & Polo-tee.
Registration is open. Application forms can be downloaded from SASCA website, www.iascasingapore.com or obtained from SPL magazine. Limited seats available. Submit your forms with payment now to avoid disappointment.
