Hi.

There are about 1,000 members willing to read your thread and help answer your question.

However,

Your post doesn't make any sense

Would you please re-phrase your question, and expand what you mean by "boot".

K,thanks.

Do you mean the shifter boot?

Or do you speak Limey, and mean the 'trunk' when you say boot?

Easy - from the cup holder, remove the piece at the front passenger side, that lets you access the handbrake adjuster.

Lift there, and pull up on the boot at the same time. The rear clips should pop out, then lift the whole piece straight up - if you pull sideways you'll break clips. Remove the shift **** to get the shift surround out.

Why don't you just take the shifter **** off and pull up on the boot to get it to its max height?

Pretty sure you'd have no problems cleaning it like that..

Easy.....
  • Open the sliding cupholder lid
  • Remove the ashtray
  • unscrew the shifter ****
  • Take out the little 'tab' right behind the parking brake
  • reach your finger into the hole and Carefully pull back the plastic clip (this clip is the most likely to break in the whole process of console removal)
  • the rest of the clips will come undone (usually) safely with a sharp pull 'up'.
Once you have the console off, you'll see that the boot is held in place by four screws...

Look at the pictures in the first three posts on this thread for visuals, and a different description...

Thanks for clarifying your question.!
