I tried "search" but couldn't find what's the best way to clean the silver center console side plates. I have some black rubber marks on them, and am afraid to try alcohol or other solvent. Also can scratches be rubbed out with ultra fine sandpaper?

 

i would start with glass cleaner, cause they could be scratches in the paint.
