..their inside door panels yet? If so, how did you go about it? Any help, pointers, or thread reference(s) woukld be much appreciated!

There's probably better ways to do it, but I started with a flathead screwdriver at the bottom of the panel, using a mouse pad at the leverage point. Pry it up to get things started and then start pulling with your fingers all around the door panel to get the plastic retainers to pop off. It'll take some effort, but the retainers shouldn't break!

That's about the same way I did it. Once you get one popped out and can get your hands in there, it goes pretty quick.
