It fits in the center console, runs from a Palm or PC, is downloadable, and captures ALL data at once (be sure to look at the demo pages). It's an older unit, but almost ALL serious autocrossers have this one.
Acceleration, braking, left/right, and ALL combinations of them at all times, with a graph to compare between runs or whatever. I used it to set up the 8 for autocross - very handy.

I have a Beltronics and it works just fine, but the specs are the same as the Passport and they are both made by the same company. I have always had Passport radar detectors.
