So it's hot as hell outside and it sucks when I am ready to leave work and I can't because I am going to burn my hand on the shift ****. I was thinking that someone must sell a slip on cover to keep the thing cool, but all I have been able to find is some furry pink crap on ebay. Anyone know where I can find these?

 

The aftermarket mazdaspeed shift **** is made of some kind of heat resistant material. It gets hot but is driveable pretty quick.

 

I heard that you can use an ipod cover. Personally I have a hat in the car that I just put over the shifter when I get out.

If you have a pair of oakleys then you can put the soft fabric stuff over it. I do this sometimes. But I really didn't have to as much with the stock **** as with the dpe aluminum one.
