GARMIN STREETPILOT 2620 and the NAV Tray

I was wondering if anyone has thought of getting the nav tray from Canzoomer and mounting the Garmin 2620 to it. It would be GPS for Just over a $1000. THe 2620 is availible on ebay for uner a $1000. Canzoomer are you still selling this tray. I saw a picture of it with an lcd screen in it. Can you post a picture without the screen?

Thanks,

Nat

If you mount the Garmin permanently to the tray, you'll just invite a thief to break into your car to steal the GPS.

That is what I want to use ^^^^. THe Garmin has a stationary base that allows the 2620 to be clipped into. When I park I can take the 2620 down and stow it. THere will be nothing showing to steal.

Sounds like a good idea. I'd like to be able to use the Garmin in either car, as sometimes we have to take my wife's if we want to haul both luggage and my golf clubs. (One of life's cruel choices.)

^^^You could use the bean bag in one car and the stationary in the 8. You will need to buy a second power adapter.

Here's a small pic. It's a bottom-rubberized bean bag with a standard Garmin clip mount on top to fit the GPS on. It just sits on any flat-ish surface. Check out: http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/...0-10306-00.jpg
