Is anyone aware of whether Mazda is planning on making any other modular units available . . . I would assume that one of the benefits of having a modular system is expandablity. If they have mp3, cassette and minidisc modules how hard would it be to make a satellite radio or hard drive based mp3 module available. It would seem the logical thing to do.

 

I think it would be very cool to have a Phatnoise type module that would let you stick the cartridge right into the thing. Maybe its time to email mazda..

 

Does anyone have an update on when additional modules will be available? I read that a sirius radio option will be available this summer but have seen no information about whether it will be "insertable" in the existing set up or will be part of an entire new head unit/system? Anyone know anything?
