Front speaker install help

Ok guys, I have my rear speakers in, both my amps(almost) my sub, and my deck(almost) in. But wow oh wow those front speakers. I'm trying to run the speaker wire though the molex, but im having huge problems. I can unseat the boot, pop the 4 tabs to get 1 molex half out, but I cant get the blue half unseated from the car.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? It's getting to the point where I'm just gonna drill a hole, and run the wire the incorrect way .

I did it like this. Worked like a charm and no need to get the whole connector out and play with power tools.

Have you figured it out yet?

I used the following tools to help me run 2 pairs of 16 ga wire through my molexes:

Bright LED flashlight
Automotive Mirror
Pick set (4 pc set I found at Autozone)
Drill and bits
KY Jelly
Zip tie

The 90 degree angle pick will help you disconnect the molex.
I was able to find 4 empty holes to run my wire through. Be careful though. Start with a small bit and step up. I used KY Jelly to lube the bit to keep from tearing into the side walls of each hole. Then it came in handy when I had to push the wires through.
Use the zip tie, some KY, and electrical tape to get the wires through the accordion boot.

I have not figured out a way to get the accordion boot to seat perfectly back onto the door side, but the door panel holds it on well enough. Let me know if you have any questions. I just got done doing this.

btw if you're only running 1 pair of wires, Socket's method is sooo much easier. You don't even to pull the molex out. Just lube up the wires and send em through!
