Front Speaker Depth
Does anybody know exactly how deep of a front speaker you can fit in. I am looking at some dynaudio 7" midbass speakers for the front and know the diameter will fit, but not sure about the depth. They are 3.03" deep and I will use a 1/4 inch spacer to mount them centered in the hole. If these will not fit then I will probably go with a 6.5 inch mounted in the door with the tweeter mounted along with it. I may be able to do the same with the 7". but am concerned with depth.

I too am looking at the 7" or 9" Dynaudio woofers. As far as I can tell they should fit. The way they taper really helps. The window track only comes into the opening when all the way down, and even then it only takes up a very small amount of the opening. I'm pretty sure the Dyn's will fit. I'm going to attempt it in the upcoming months. You have a ton of depth where the Bose 9" woofers are, and the only thing keeping the depth down is the window when all the way down.

Where are you going to purchase from and how much are they going to run you? I think I am going to pick some up on ebay for 500 or so even though the warranty is going to be screwed kinda, I am going to install myself so the warranty will only be one year at best anyway.
