front cig lighter gets no power

When trying to tap into the cigarette lighter power, I used my multimeter to test the voltage. To my surprise it wasn't getting any. My guess is fuse blew.

Where is the fuse for that lighter?

should be in the kick panel fuse box on the drivers side. 10 amp IIRC.

Yeah, check your kick panel fuses. Open the driver door, the behind the panel that is right next to the floor to the left of where your left foot would be. There should even be spare fuses.

Since none of us remembers which one is the lighter fuse lol...just try pulling out all the fuses in the kick panel. If you see a blown one which will look like this

just replace it with a fuse of equal amperage.

found the problem
it was a fuse but it was the "illiumi" one in the engine bay not the kick panel

Yup, it's a series-distributed circuit between those bay and kick panel fuses. Already been discussed (search) which is why all of us were too lazy to re-look it up.

Keep in mind that the fuse blew for a reason (over spec current draw somewhere). Just changing the fuse may not ultimately remedy your problem.
