looks like a powered subwoofer. I was wondering if I can hook this up to my existing BOSE system. Looks like the perfect buy for what I'm looking for: additional base and a AUX hook up for my iPOD.

Just wondering if anyone here has had any exp. from it or have any idea about it.

 

although it does look neat, i doubt it will be exactly what you want. it looks like its a self contained power sub (sub and amp in one box) with regular speakers on the outside (for the aux) now it might do alright as a powered sub thats easy to install, but if you going to use it for ipod hookup, it's going to leave you quite dissapointed, i mean, the only sound you would get is from some small box in your trunk.

If you want to get it for the cheap and easy powered sub option, do it. but don't expect for a min it's going to solve your ipod problem, think again. there are lots of better solutions for Ipods around here...

 

Man good thing i posted here first. I'm not an audio guru by any means, so i didn't even realize where the sound would be coming from the ipod. Good lookin' out! Thanks.
