Driver's Seat Controls Broken
Ok, I promise I searched my rear off before posting... If I missed the thread on this then flame away.
And now onto the real topic;
A few weeks ago I had my seat ran nearly all the way forward, and the seat back completely upright for autox-ing. A few other people drove my car that day, so it got moved around between drivers. The racing ended, and I was able to return my seat to a comfortable daily driving position. But about halfway thru my drive home I tried to adjust the seat a little bit. It worked at first, the control button made it's usual light clicking noise. I pushed it again and this time it made a much louder clicking noise and didnt work. Now none of the seat controls work.
Anybody know how I can fix this?

There are two seat positioning motors so it's rare that neither would be functional. Therefore it's more likely a break somewhere in the switch and/or wiring harness to the motors. It could also be broken motorized gears in one or both of the racks. Was there anything wedged under the seat (like a small fire extinguisher) that might have abraded the harness or broken the gearing when the seat was repeatedly moved?
Hopefully it's just the switch or you can find a wire break and solder it, as the entire motorized seat base is like $300.

Yeah, i'm hoping it's just a wiring issue, or perhaps a fuse?? It was the loud click, almost CLUNK that the control made that makes me think it's just the wiring.
There is/was nothing under the seat that would have worn on it.
How do i get into the panel to check if something is loose/broken?
