Just realised that the handle to adjust the tilt/height is broken on my rx, anyone know how to fix. Its still attached and has resistance when i pump it but it only moves 2mm up and down now.

 

I had the same problem, it is common and is the same on Miatas.

I mentioned to one of the techs at Mazdaspeed Motorsports and it happened that he was the one who wrote a ton of the TSB's for the 8, including the one for this repair!

It requires two small parts, a spring and a plastic piece that moves the actuator and they are cheap.

I have the info at home and will have to look it up this weekend, but maybe someone can be of immediate help. If not I will get it to you after the weekend.

Here are the pages of the TSB that relates to the problems of a broken seat adjuster. The part numbers you need are on the last page. Usually the guide cam is broken and the new piece is stronger.
