Just had a quick question.. I know that there are amps on the doors in the Bose audio system but are there door amps in the doors with the stock base system ? I have tweeters on my doors but they don't say Bose on them and I have been reading everything online about the relays on the doors going bad with the Bose system so just wanted to know if I would have to look out for this or does my system not have amps ??

If your tweeter doesn't say Bose, you probably don't have Bose! If you look at your bottom speakers in your door non Bose are a 6 X 6. Basically if you can see the screws that hold the speaker in place without taking the door panel apart you don't have a Bose!

You'd have to take it apart to find out. If you have tweeters/woofers actively working you have probably got some type of amp going. Reason being your crossovers have to end up somewhere. I dont know the specifics of the 8's head unit output, but in most cases if you somehow managed to run tweets/woofs off of a head unit, you wouldnt be turning the volume up much before you start hearing fuzzies
