I don't havea homelink mirror, is there a power source i can tap into in the sunglass area for a v1?

i don't think so, not for the mirror anyway, how about the lights up there. you could tap those

According to everything I've read here, there isn't. There are other options than tapping something up there..

Check my DIY. I tapped power from the map lights.
